My name is Alex Schierholtz, and I'm the photographer behind 321 Native Photography. I'm an award-winning professional photographer, born and raised in Brevard County, with more than 16 years behind the lens.
My work includes portraits, family sessions, engagement shoots, weddings, sports, events, product and commercial photography, headshots, fine art prints, and commissioned work for people who have a specific place, subject, or idea in mind.
Before building 321 Native Photography, I studied Visual Arts and Emerging Media Management at UCF and spent years working in news, sports, and launch photography — including time with the UCF student paper, Florida Today, Hometown News, and Villon.

Light, Timing, Location.
Knowing the Space Coast helps with the practical side of a shoot: where the light lands, when a launch angle works, which locations fit the mood, and how to keep a session moving without rushing it.
Built Around the Shoot.
A family session, business headshot, wedding, product shoot, event, or commission all need different handling. I’ll help you figure out what makes sense for the shoot instead of forcing every project into the same package.

Some projects start with a specific idea: a favorite location, a custom commercial image, a print request, or a subject you want documented well. I take the same focused approach there too—clear communication, thoughtful planning, and images that feel worth keeping.
